We finished recording in Sugar Mountain, NC a year ago today. A year before that, these songs took shape during a period of uncertainty in our band and personal relationships. To hear the feelings that creep in when you’re most vulnerable – anger, paranoia, loneliness, etc – take shape as a record we’re so proud reminds us why we make music; it’s life-affirming and makes us feel superhuman for a moment.
